My name is Mr Karl Radford and I have the privilege of teaching a wonderful group of Year 3 and 4 students in Room 9 at Whakarongo School. This is my second year at Whakarongo School after teaching for 3 years at St Joseph's School in Levin.
As well as being a classroom teacher at Whakarongo School, I am also the Sports Coordinator. This allows me to share my passion for sports with all students at the school. I also enjoy playing and watching all sports with a particular interest in soccer, rugby and cricket.
Away from school I am fortunate to have a fantastic support network with my partner Natasha and my 3 beautiful children, Luke (4), Mia (2) and Connor (2 months). My spare time is well spent sharing in and enjoying their company. I am looking forward to a successful year in Room 9 and watching our class develop into the BEST WHAKARONGO KIDS THEY CAN BE!
